Savannah House

Richtons were appointed to conduct an environmental clean and re-encapsulation to the building's boiler room, with known asbestos containing materials to walls, ceilings and floors. Works involved setting up a containment enclosure to provide a safe working environment for the operatives who then ensured that plant, equipment and fixed surfaces were cleaned as far as is reasonably practicable, prior to repainting the walls with asbestos encapsulant paint. All of this work is to ensure that the client remains legally and contractually active in line with their responsibility to manage and adhere to Regulation 4 of CAR2012; the duty to manage asbestos.
